Now, once you've gone beyond the young girl stage (in age, or temperament), you seek a room that's more fitting for a young woman.  One with more refined feminine colors and features, and with a nice big queen bed for exploring all that lovely womanliness.  (and, of course, a walk in closet for your expansive wardrobe, plus maybe a full size mirror or two.  and a vanity table where you can spend hours perfecting your special look).
